GENEVA, Ohio. (February 21, 2025) – The Stonehill College women's swimming team continued competition on day three of the 2025 Northeast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, held at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, accumulating a total of 49 points on the day.
Senior
Jami Hepburn and junior
Kristy Barry stood out for the Skyhawks, each securing top-10 finishes in their respective events. Hepburn earned 10th place overall and second in the B-Final of the 100-yard breaststroke, posting a time of 1:06.53. Barry, in turn, delivered a season-best performance in the 400-yard individual medley, clocking in at 4:39.43.
Junior
Taylor Belanger, along with first-year swimmers
Maddie Gomez and
Elizabeth Weston, also contributed valuable points to the team total. Belanger finished just behind Hepburn in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.43, while Gomez placed 11th in the 100-yard backstroke with a personal-best mark of 57.75 seconds. Weston added further points to the Skyhawks' tally by finishing the 100-yard backstroke in 59.52 seconds.
Sophomore
Grace Idowu also made an impact in the 100-yard butterfly, recording a season-best time of 58.72 seconds, improving upon her previous best of 58.82 seconds set at the Harold Anderson Invitational.

Sharlotte Lundell wrapped up the day with a season-best time of 3:59.40, helping to add 24 points to Stonehill's overall total.
After 28 events, Stonehill has accumulated 134.5 points in the competition. Central Connecticut State continues to lead the team standings with 550.5 points following day three of the championships.

Stonehill will wrap up competition on Day Four of the NEC Swimming and Diving Championships tomorrow morning in Geneva, Ohio, with the preliminary round of the 1650-yard freestyle at 10 AM.
