GREENSBURG, Pa. (April 5, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team was defeated 7-0 by Northeast Conference (NEC) rival Saint Francis University on Saturday night at the Greensburg Racquet Club in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. With the loss, the Skyhawks dropped to 7-11 overall and 1-4 in conference play, while the Red Flash improved to 6-9 overall and 2-3 in NEC competition.

- Saint Francis secured the first two doubles matches to clinch the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead into singles competition.
- The Skyhawks' sole victory came at No. 3 doubles, where sophomore Jacob Borch-Nielsen and Guillaume Duhil de Bénazé defeated sophomore Alan Gonzalez and freshman Kevin Titus Suresh with a commanding 6-1 scoreline.
- Sophomore Tyler Nguyen and Gonzalez each earned singles victories at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
- Nguyen completed his victory with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 win over freshman Guillermo Bennaton, while Gonzalez defeated Borch-Nielsen in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
- Senior Jacob Wilhelm Krefting fought through a three-set battle at No. 3 singles against Suresh, but ultimately, Suresh emerged victorious, clinching the match for Saint Francis with a 4-0 lead.
- Saint Francis completed the sweep with victories on the final three courts of singles play.
- Tremblay triumphed over freshman Nicolas Arredondo 7-6, 6-4 at No. 4, while senior Patrick Reese delivered a straight set win against junior Mark Kröll.
- Junior Gregory Troyan sealed the sweep with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over sophomore Alexis Chastang.
