EASTON, Mass. (June 13, 2025) – The New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) honored 166 student-athletes from all eight member institutions on Friday with selection to the 2024-25 All-Academic Team. The Stonehill College women's ice hockey program set a new standard in its third season, placing a program-record 21 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team—surpassing its previous best of 18 honorees.
In addition to the team's academic milestone, three Skyhawks received NEWHA Student-Athlete of the Year honors for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the 2024-25 academic year. Junior forwards

Alexsa Caron, were each recognized with the prestigious academic accolade.
To be eligible for the NEWHA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have achieved at least a 3.0 grade-point average in both the first and second semester. The Student-Athlete of the Year designation is awarded to the student-athlete(s) who have maintained the highest grade-point average in the league.
Sacred Heart led all institutions with 31 All-Academic selections, followed by LIU (27), Post (24), and both Stonehill and Saint Michael's with 19. Franklin Pierce added 18 honorees, Assumption 16, and Saint Anselm rounded out the list with 10.
