LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Stonehill volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Belmont University to conclude the Siena Clocktower Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Belmont jumped out in front early winning the first set, 25-13, to take a 1-0 match advantage. The Skyhawks made it a game in the second set and looked to even up the match at one game.
Stonehill came out strong in the second set and made Belmont work. Trailing by five, 12-7, the Skyhawks pulled to within two, 15-13, on a kill by freshman
Cat Detweiler. But they were unable to get closer than two as the Bruins edged out the Skyhawks, 25-23. Belmont held on to take the third set and the match, 25-17.
