Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Sept. 21, 2025) – The Stonehill field hockey team concluded its weekend with a non-conference contest against Brown, dropping the game by a score of 8-0. The Skyhawks slip to 1-6 overall, while the Bears improve to 2-3.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Freshman goalkeeper Isabelle Morton tied her career-high with an eight-save effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Brown got on the scoreboard first as Alexandra Madrid sent a pass to Sadie Schultz for the first goal of the game at the 6:17 of the opening frame. Madrid assisted on the Bears' next goal as well, this time by Lexi Pellegrino at the 13:21 mark of the first.
Pellegrino tacked on her second goal with 9:28 remaining in the half, making it 3-0 in favor of Brown. Pellegrino added another score with 2:31 left to play in the second, 4-0.
The Bears notched scores in the second half by Sophia Clark (32:08), Lizzie Loftus (35:48), Juliette Meijaard (37:53) and Kate Siedem (57:53).

Stonehill (1-5, 1-0 NEC) will play host to Saint Francis (4-3, 1-0 NEC) for the Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day Game at W.B. Mason Stadium on Friday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m.
