EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 28, 2025) – The Stonehill field hockey team fell in its home NEC contest to Fairfield by a score of 5-0 Sunday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.
The Skyhawks celebrated Alumnae Day during the contest, and members of the 2015 Stonehill NE-10 conference championship team were honored at halftime.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Stags tallied two goals in the first quarter to carry a 2-0 lead in the half. First, Konni Hoffman found the back of the net at the 8:56 mark, and then Kaelyn Fogelson scored at 12:36 for Fairfield.
In the second half, Hoffman converted a penalty stroke at 3:40, and the Stags capped the scoring with tallies by Rylee Laloup at 40:05 and Amanda Dressel at 41:53, respectively.

Stonehill (1-8, 1-2 NEC) will remain at home to face LIU (1-8, 1-1 NEC) in the Purple and White Game Friday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. at W.B. Mason Stadium.
