Emily Young, the Stonehill women's track and field team showed exemplary performances at MIT's Gordon Kelly Invitational on Saturday.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Emily Young finished first in the 3000-meters with a time of 10:28.34.
- Freshman Sophia Adams finished second in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:21.65.
- Freshmen Sydney O'Donnell and Kate Littler finished back-to-back in the 800-meter with times of 2:24.26 and 2:25.02, respectively.
- Junior Madison Stott clocked a top collegiate time of 1:41.85 in the 600-meter to place sixth
- Freshman Abigail Haeusgen posted a pair of top times in the 200-meter (27.87) and the 400-meter (1:04.18).
- Senior Jordan Malloy and freshman Isabella Galusha finished fourth and fifth, respectively in the mile.
- Galusha's mile time of 5:13.11 was a new collegiate best.
- Sophomore Iasmim De Sousa-Vieira clocked a top collegiate best time of 10:53.65 in the 3000 meters to place eighth.
- Freshman Elisabeth Joudy also posted a collegiate best time in the 3000-meter with a time of 11:01.02.
- Sophomore Aly Bassett finished sixth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles (9.29).
- Sophomore Simone Connolly placed seventh in the high jump with the mark of 4'10.25."
- Senior Kaia Eder finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 35'1."
