PROVIDENCE, R.I. (April 10, 2026) – The Stonehill men's and women's track and field distance runners competed at the Friar Invitational against top Division I track and field programs on Friday afternoon.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Jordan Malloy placed 17^th in the women's mile clocking a time of 5:00.67.
• Senior Emily Young finished fourth in the women's open 5000-meter run with a time of 17:41.97.
• Junior Connor Magill finished 22^nd in the men's mile with a time of 4:17.60.
• Freshman Benjamin Tavares finished eighth in the men's open 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.73.
• Junior Matthew Malora came one second shy of tying his personal-best in the men's open 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.17.
• Junior Ryan Pereira placed seventh in the men's open 5000-meter run clocking a time of 14:51.36.
• Junior Ian Bubar and Ethan Fadden finished 18^th and 19^th in the men's open 5000-meter run with times of 15:16.45 and 15:16.86, respectively.
