BROCKTON, Mass. (Jan. 24, 2026) – The Stonehill swimming & diving team concluded its dual-meet schedule by defeating Merrimack by a score of 145-135 at Massasoit Community College Pool Saturday evening.
With the team honoring seniors
Kristy Barry and
Taylor Belanger, the Skyhawks opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, as Barry and Belanger joined sophomore
Elizabeth Weston and junior
Grace Idowu to win the event with a collective time of 1:52.18.
Barry also won the 50 freestyle in 25.30 and the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in 54.39.
Sophomore
Lily Peterson swept the 50 breaststroke (31.85) and 100 breaststroke (1:08.80). Freshman
Emma Kawai capped the team victory by winning the 400 individual medley in 4:47.64.
Stonehill divers sophomore
Molly Clifford (221.15), freshman
Sophia Sierpina (164.10) and Weston (150.25) all posted their highest scores of the season.
