BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (Jan. 27, 2026) – Freshman distance runner Sophia Adams was named the NEC Rookie of the Week announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.

Adams placed second in the 800 meters at MIT's Gordon Kelly Invitational on Saturday with a time of 2:21.65. The time also places her fifth amongst the NEC's top performers list this season.

Stonehill returns to the track on Friday, January 30 with the BU Terrier Classic and Roxbury C.C. Tigers Open in Boston.
