STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 15, 2026) – The Stonehill College women's track and field team sits fourth after the first day of the 2026 NEC Indoor Championships on Sunday afternoon. The Skyhawks sit two of a three-way tie for second place with 21 points.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Morgan Correia won the pole vault with a mark of 3.50 meters.
- Senior Jordan Malloy made podium earning the bronze medal win the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:47.32, just two seconds off second place.
- Senior Emily Young, sophomore Mallory Hildredth and junior Iasmim DeSousa-Vieira all placed in the top-10 of the 3,000-meter with respective times of 10:14.38, 10:14.94 and 10:30.33.
- Sophomore Aly Bassett qualified for the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.99.
- The Skyhawks will be well represented in the finals of the mile tomorrow with Malloy, Hildredth and Young all qualifying in today's prelims.
- Senior Grace Tyrrell qualified for the finals in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.17.
- Junior Madison Stott qualified for the finals of the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:18.72.
- Freshmen Sophia Adams and Isabella Galusha qualified for the finals of the 800-meter with respectively times of 2:22.13 and 2:17.88, along with senior Emma Lawrence who posted a prelim time of 2:21.23.
