EASTON, Mass. – The 2026-2027 Senior Reflections is a series of annual collections. Senior representatives of teams at Stonehill have been invited to contribute and reflect on their personal experiences over their four-year careers at Stonehill - both on and off the playing surface.

Why Stonehill?
I chose Stonehill because I wanted to be part of building a program. When I arrived, the team was only one year into Division I and I was drawn to the idea of helping shape its future. Being part of that journey and watching the program grow has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time here.

Best Moments …
Athletically, my best memory at Stonehill was our overtime win against Rider last season. We were down 2-0 at halftime, and instead of letting it get to us, we put everything we had into the second half. We came back to tie it 3-3 and then won in overtime. That game showed what our team is capable of when we push together.

Academically, my best moment isn't a single day, it's the chemistry department as a whole. It's a tight-knit community where the professors are always there to help, and I made so many amazing friendships with my classmates along the way.

Lessons Learned
I've learned a lot about myself, but the biggest thing is how to be a leader. I was given the role of captain early in my career, and it taught me how to approach difficult conversations, how to push my teammates in a productive way, and how to make hard decisions. Those lessons have shaped who I am, both on and off the field.

I'll carry many skills with me after Stonehill, but the most important is time management. Being part of a Division I team while pursuing a challenging major required careful planning and discipline to make sure everything got done on time. I know that learning to balance classes, field hockey, and a social life will prepare me for whatever comes next.
