EASTON, Mass. – The 2026-2027 Senior Reflections is a series of annual collections. Senior representatives of teams at Stonehill have been invited to contribute and reflect on their personal experiences over their four-year careers at Stonehill - both on and off the playing surface.

Karleigh Mirabile, Field Hockey

Why Stonehill?
Choosing to attend Stonehill College was by far one of the best decisions I ever made. Before arriving here, I had never really been away from home. I was stepping into the unknown for the first time, with no idea what to expect. I was immediately welcomed into the Stonehill community by my new field hockey teammates, coaches, fellow classmates, and professors. It wasn't long before Stonehill really became my second home.

Over the past 4 years, I have made lifelong friendships that I will cherish forever. I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of an amazing team, with girls who I really consider to be my family.

Lessons Learned
Throughout my college career, I've grown so much as a student-athlete, leader, teammate, friend, and person. I've learned to always have confidence in myself, make the most of my opportunities, and embrace every moment that lies ahead.
