EASTON, Mass. – The 2025-2026 Senior Reflections is a series of annual collections. Senior representatives of teams at Stonehill have been invited to contribute and reflect on their personal experiences over their four-year careers at Stonehill - both on and off the playing surface.

Why Stonehill?
I chose Stonehill because of the welcoming community and the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level while still receiving a high-level education. When I first stepped onto campus for my tour, I immediately knew that this was going to be my next home for the next four years.
How Has Stonehill Shaped You As A Person?
Entering my freshman year, I was quiet and more reserved, especially while trying to balance the demands of being both a student and an athlete. Over the past four years, that has completely changed. Being a member of the softball team has challenged me with early morning practices with a long season to follow. This helped shape me to become more disciplined with my time and hold myself accountable to myself, my family, my teammates, and my coaches.
Lessons Learned
I am most thankful for being given the opportunity to play alongside my teammates in high pressure situations and working to stick together. Academically, I gained confidence by always pushing myself to my best potential even when I was going through some of the hardest times in my life.
Through these experiences, I became more outgoing, learning how to advocate for myself when I need help, and more comfortable taking leadership roles, whether that means supporting younger teammates or helping guide team dynamics.
Most importantly, Stonehill has helped me learn that I am able to succeed in my goals when I put my head down and believe in myself. I am very grateful for the experiences that Stonehill has given me, like being a student-athlete and I can't wait to apply them into my future career!
