Stonehill Athletics to Induct Hall of Fame Class of 2026 During Homecoming Weekend

EASTON, Mass. (July 8, 2026) – Stonehill Athletics has announced seven former standout student-athletes as members of its 34th Athletic Hall of Fame Class for induction at a ceremony in the Pettit Atrium of the Shields Science Center on Saturday, Nov. 7, as part of Homecoming Weekend at the College.

The members of the Stonehill College Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 are:

  • Kristin Darrell – Class of 2008, Women's Lacrosse
  • David Donnelly – Class of 1999, Men's Basketball
  • Nicole Eisenmann – Class of 2013, Softball
  • Emily Iverson – Class of 2015, Volleyball
  • Jay McHugh – Class of 1989, Men's Soccer
  • Robert Pascale – Class of 2004, Men's Ice Hockey
  • Steve Sheeler – Class of 2004, Football

The induction ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., prior to Stonehill football's home contest against Central Connecticut State at 1 p.m.

While tickets are not being sold for this event and everyone is welcome to attend, there is an online RSVP link to help plan the number of expected guests.

Stonehill Hall of Fame Class of 2026 

David Donnelly '99 – Men's Basketball 
A two-time All-NE-10 First Team recipient in 1998 and 1999, David Donnelly ranks 10th amongst the program leaders in all-time points with 1,502. Averaging 18.4 points per game as a junior, David guided Stonehill to the regular season NE-10 Championship with a 22-7 overall record, which included a 15-5 mark against conference opponents, and reaching the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament.  

Nicole Eisenmann '13 – Softball 
A three-time All-NE-10 selection, Nicole Eisenmann had decorated career as one of Stonehill's most prolific hitters. She finished her career as the program's all-time leader in hits and RBI, while being in the top-three in homeruns, average and doubles. During her senior season in 2013 she slugged an impressive 14 homeruns, landing her sixth amongst NE-10 single-season leaders, and guided Stonehill to a program-best 27 wins. In the process, she earned NFCA All-East Region recognition.  

Emily Iverson '15 – Volleyball  
Emily Iverson was one of the top Stonehill volleyball players during the program's peak moment. From the moment she stepped foot on the Stonehill campus she showcased her dominance. Pacing the Skyhawk offense averaging 10.44 assists per set, Emily was named the NE-10 Rookie of the Year as she guided Stonehill to a program-best 27 wins. As a senior, Emily guided the Skyhawks to the NE-10 regular season championship with a 21-8 overall record, including an 11-3 conference mark and earned NE-10 Player of the Year, All-Region and All-American honors in the process.  

Jay McHugh '89 – Men's Soccer 
Jay McHugh is one of three four-time All-NEC recipients, earning First Team honors in 1987 and 1988 as well as Second Team honors as a freshman and sophomore in 1985 and 1986. Throughout his four years at Stonehill, the men's soccer team amassed a 46-30-9 record, which included the program's second-best team record of 14 wins in 1985. Jay exhibited exemplary leadership, leading the program as a two-time team captain as a junior and senior.  

Kristin Darrell '08, Women's Lacrosse 
Stonehill's career leader with 241 goals, Darrell played from 2005-08, amassing 309 points, including 68 assists, which ranks fourth in the school record books. A three-time Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-American, including a first-team honoree in 2007, Darrell is tied for the Stonehill single-game record with nine goals (at Merrimack on March 27, 2007) and her 71 goals in 2006 stands as the second-most in a single-season in program history.  

Steve Sheeler '04, Football 
Sheeler holds Stonehill's career record with 402 tackles over his time on the gridiron from 2000-03. He also holds the school record with 53.5 career tackles for a loss and stands second with 230 career unassisted tackles. Sheeler recovered eight fumbles during his time at Stonehill, good for third in the record books. During his senior campaign, the All-Northeast 10 linebacker recorded 128 tackles, good for second-most in a single-season in Stonehill history.  

Robert Pascale '04, Men's Ice Hockey 
Pascale established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in Stonehill history, totaling 160 points on 79 goals and 81 assists over 89 career games. He graduated as the program's all-time leader in career goals and points while ranking second in career assists. Pascale still holds the single-season program record with 52 points in 2002-03, while his 27 goals that season rank third all-time and his 26 assists in 2001-02 and 25 assists in 2002-03 remain among the best single-season totals in program history.
