EASTON, Mass. (Aug. 27, 2026) – Junior Siena De Roeck and sophomore Havana De Roeck of the Stonehill field hockey team have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watch List, powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE).

The 2026 NFHCA Watchlist recognizes field hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and must have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years. Qualifying honors include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, or selection to a U.S. National or international team roster.

The Watchlist is intended to highlight returning and emerging standouts entering the 2026 season. Selection does not guarantee future NFHCA postseason recognition.

The De Roeck sisters, who hail from Brecht, Belgium, tied for the team lead with five goals and 11 points in 2025. Siena, a midfielder, started all 15 games she appeared in and was a two-time NEC Prime Performer. She scored a career-high two goals in the win at Rider Sept. 19, and she tallied two more goals, including one on a penalty stroke, against New Haven Oct. 17. 

Havana, a forward, played in all 18 games, starting 17 and was named NEC Rookie of the Week Sept. 23 after netting a goal in the victory at Rider. She picked up her second NEC Rookie of the Week nod Oct. 21 after scoring in back-to-back games at New Haven and Sacred Heart Oct. 19. She also had an assist in the win over the Chargers for a three-point effort.

Stonehill field hockey opens its 2026 season at Holy Cross Friday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m.
