EASTON, Mass. (Aug. 3, 2026) – Tyler Bannon and Logan Chenette of the Stonehill football team have been selected to the 2026 All-NEC Football Preseason Team, the conference office announced Monday.

Bannon, a graduate student linebacker from North Attleborough, Mass., started all 12 games for the Skyhawks in 2025, recording 53 tackles, a team-best 7.5 tackles for a loss and 2.0 sacks. Bannon also led the team with eight pass breakups, intercepted two passes, forced two fumbles and had five quarterback hurries.

A senior punter from Hull, Mass., Chenette earned the Coach Gary Richardson Special Teams Champion award last season. Chenette, who was named to the New England Football Writers' All-New England Team, played in all 12 games and had 59 punts for a season average of 40.4 yards. He also placed 15 punts inside the 20-yard line and had 10 punts of 50 yards or more.

In addition, Stonehill was tabbed seventh in the NEC Preseason Poll. Stonehill opens the 2026 campaign at home against Bryant on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m.
