EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 1, 2026) – Sophomore goalkeeper
Isabelle Morton of the Stonehill field hockey team has been honored as the NEC Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced. Morton was also selected as an NEC Prime Performer.
In Stonehill's season opener at Holy Cross, Morton recorded a career-high 19 saves, stopping seven shots in the first half and eight in the fourth quarter alone. Morton's previous career-high was an 11-save effort against St. Francis last fall.
Morton and the Skyhawks will visit Maine Friday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m.
