SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Brendan Wilder placed first at Bryant's Shawn M. Nassaney 5K Invitational on Saturday. The Skyhawks finished second as a team with a score of 37.
 
Running a 4:56-minute mile, Wilder crossed the finish line with a time of 15:20.1 – eight tenths ahead of URI's Ryan Kaiser. Fellow seniors Dylan Brilliant and Ryan Pereira also finished in the top five clocking times of 15;21.1 and 15:25.7, respectively.
