NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Stonehill volleyball team dropped back to 2-3 on the season falling to Bryant in three sets, 3-0, on Wednesday evening.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Sophomore Kendra Sawyer paced the offense with 16 assists.
• Sophomore Sam Loyd led the Skyhawks with six kills.
• Sophomore Haley Herndon followed up with four kills.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bulldogs took control early  but the Skyhawks managed to chip their way back before Bryant was able to pull out the 25-18 win. Bryant took a two-set lead following a 25-13 win in set two.
 
However, Stonehill was not going away quietly. They made the third set competitive before the Bulldogs were able to claim the set with a 25-17 win.
