ORONO, Maine (Sept. 5, 2026) – The Stonehill field hockey team concluded its weekend by falling to Davidson by a score of 6-0 at UMaine Field Hockey Complex Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats go to 2-2 on the season, while the Skyhawks move to 0-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the opening frame, Davidson took a 1-0 lead off a goal by Lourdes Wolf at the 7:11 mark. The Wildcats added a goal in the second quarter by Sophie Rousseau off an assist by Ise Adams to make it 2-0 at 19:52.
Davidson went up 3-0 on a second goal by Wolf in the third quarter at 32:25, and then the Wildcats extended it to 4-0 off a score by Eva van der Kooi at 38:15. Later in the third stanza, Davidson made it 6-0.
