2015-16 (Sophomore): Appeared in 27 games with 64 at bats recordeding 19 hits, including three doubles and two homeruns for a .297 batting average. Totaled 10 RBI and scored nine runs.
2014-15 (Freshman):
NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll fall semester.
Appeared in 23 games and made 14 starts for Stonehill during his freshman campaign. Hit .203 (13-for-64) with two doubles, a homerun, seven RBI and seven runs scored. Also drew seven walks and struck out 13 times. Made his collegiate debut on 2/20 against Mercy, going 0-for-3. Recorded his first hit, run and RBI against Post, finishing 1-for-3 with a single, two RBI and a run (3/7). Registered a homerun, three RBI and a run as he went 2-for-2 at Saint Thomas Aquinas (3/11). Put together a season high four game hitting streak from 4/12-4/16. Went 2-for-3 with a walk in a win over Southern Connecticut State (4/12). Posted a hit and a run in the next three games, all wins. Closed out his freshman season going 1-for-4 in the NCAA East Regional against Saint Thomas Aquinas.
High School: 2013 graduate of East Providence High School, where he earned All-Division first team honors as a junior and senior, and Academic All-Division accolades as a senior. Also completed a year of prep school at Worcester Academy in 2014.
Personal: Born May 26, 1995 in Providence, R.I. Son of Nancy and Steve Hurley of Rumford, R.I. Has a brother, Ted (21), and a sister, Patricia (14). Chose Stonehill for its athletics and academics. Lists the Boston Red Sox as his favorite team, and Angels outfielder Mike Trout as his favorite athlete.
