2015-16 (Junior): Appeared in 18 games on the mound totaling 22.2 innings pitched combining for a record of 2-3. Gave up 21 hits, 18 runs, 9 walks, and struck out 34 batters for a 4.76 ERA. Also made nine saves.
2014-15 (Sophomore):
NE10 All-Conference third team selection.
NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll fall semester. Emerged as one of the top closers in the conference during his sophomore season, leading the NE-10 with nine saves. Posted a 2.28 earned run average with 28 strikeouts in 23.2 innings of work. Made his season debut against Mercy College, picking up his first career win after pitching 0.2 innings of scoreless relief out of the bullpen (2/20). Earned a save after throwing 1.1 innings of relief against Saint Thomas Aquinas, striking out a pair while allowing two hits (3/12). Came out of the bullpen to record the final eight outs of the game against Merrimack, striking out five batters to earn the save (3/27). Made a career high six appearances out of the bullpen without allowing a run from 4/12-4/26, tossing 6.2 combined innings while striking out nine batters and only allowing one hit.
2013-14 (Freshman): Made three appearances out of the bullpen for Stonehill during his freshman season, going 0-1 with a 1.59 earned run average in 5.2 innings of work. Gave up one run on three hits and three walks while striking out five and holding opponents to a .150 batting average. Made his collegiate debut in Stonehill's 2-1 loss to Pfeiffer on 2/22, giving up one run on one hit in 2.1 innings while walking one and striking out two. Tossed a scoreless inning of relief in a 7-1 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas on 3/8, recording a strikeout to go with a pair of walks. Made his final appearance of the season in Stonehill's 4-1 loss to Saint Thomas Aquinas on 3/12, logging 2.1 scoreless frames on the mound and giving up two hits while striking out two batters.
High School: 2013 graduate of Lawrence Academy, where he was a three-year starter on the baseball team. As a sophomore, Lawrence was undefeated (15-0) in the Independent School League (ISL). As a senior, earned ISL All-League honors.
Personal: Born April 15, 1994 in Cambridge, Mass. Son of George and Alice Solomon. Has two brothers, Conrad (18), and Garrett (14). Played club baseball with Northeast Baseball while in high school. Lists favorite team as Boston Red Sox and favorite athlete as Pedro Martinez. Chose Stonehill because of its combination of academics and athletics.
