2016-17 (Senior): NE10 All-Conference second team. NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll Fall semester
2015-16 (Junior): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Appeared in 44 games, with 150 at bats. Averaged his best .273 of his career going 41-for-150, scoring 24 runs. Totaled 10 doubles, three triples, and two homeruns combining for 23 RBI and seven stolen bases in eight attempts.
2014-15 (Sophomore): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll Spring semester. Appeared in 42 games and started every game he appeared in for Stonehill during his sophomore campaign. Hit .248 (35-for141) with five doubles, two triples, two homeruns, 20 RBI and 20 runs. Also drew 16 walks and swiped nine bases. Started the season on a four game hitting streak, going a combined 8-for-15 with six RBI, four runs and two stolen bases. Posted back-to-back multi-hit performances in a 12-9 win over American International (3/8) and an 11-8 win over Nyack (3/9). Went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in a 4-2 win over Merrimack (3/27). Finished 2-for-4 with an RBI, a walk and a stolen base in a 6-5 loss at Franklin Pierce (4/2). Registered a season high five game hitting streak from 4/26-5/5, recording five hits, three runs, two RBI and a stolen base. Went 1-for-3 in the NE-10 semifinals with a double and three RBI in a 14-3 win over Adelphi (5/8). Closed out his sophomore season going 1-for-4 with a run scored in a 4-3 loss to Wilmington in the NCAA Division II East Regional (5/15).
2013-14 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games and made six starts for Stonehill during his freshman season. Hit .118 (2-for-17) with two singles and one run scored. Also drew five walks and struck out nine times. Made his collegiate debut on 2/22 against Pfeiffer, going 0-for-2 with a walk and a run. Recorded hits in consecutive games at Mercy (4/17) and against Saint Michael's (4/19). Made his final appearance of the season, coming on as a pinch-runner in Stonehill's 4-3 win over rival Bentley (4/29).
High School: Three-year starter for the baseball team at Guilford High School. Southern Connecticut Conference All-Hammonasset Division selection and team MVP as a junior and senior.
Personal: Born September 16, 1994 in New Haven, Conn. Son of Robert and Martha Monte of Guilford. Has two brothers, Alex (22), and Nate (17), and one sister, Madelyn (13).
