Biography

2012: Made 11appearances for the Skyhawks, ten starts, going 4-4 overall. Posteda 3.86 earned run average, had one shutout, two combined shutoutsand one save in 56 innings pitched. Yielded 65 hits, 26 runs (24earned), issued 20 walks and struck out 37 batters. Averaged 5.95strikeouts per game over nine innings pitched. Had a 12.38 flyoutsper game ratio to a 7.23 groundballs per game ratio. Held FelicianCollege scoreless over six innings pitched in a 1-0 win in hisfirst start of the season. Gave up just four hits, walked four andstruck out two batters. Went seven shutout innings in 1-0 victoryover American International College in game one a doubleheader onMarch 15 allowing three hits, one walk and a season-high sixstrikeouts. Did not allow a run over his last eight innings pitchedrecording a one inning save against Saint Anselm on April 28 andseven scoreless frames versus Merrimack College in his last startand appearance of the season on May 6. Gave up seven hits, one walkand fanned three batters against the Warriors. Struck out at leasttwo batters in every appearance but one (April 28/Saint Anselm).Lowered his earned run average from 4.50 to 3.86 over the span ofhis last two appearances.

2011:NE-10 All-Conference Third Team. Rankedfirst on the team in earned run average (ERA) at 2.00. Logged themost innings as a starter for Stonehill at 67.2. Led the team instrikeouts with 68 on the season. Among starters, led the staff inopponent batting average at a .207 clip. Ranked in the top-15 inthe NE-10 in ERA. Had a season-high 11 strikeouts against AmericanInternational College (4/3) in a 9-3 victory. Scattered two hitsover seven scoreless innings in a 6-2 win over Bentley University(3/13) with six strikeouts. Tossed a complete game with tenpunchouts versus Assumption College (4/9) in a 7-2 triumph. In athree-game span from April 3 to April 16, struck out 30 battersover 24 innings of work including two complete games. Compiled a4.9:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 9.04 strikeout-per-nine-inningsratio. Struck out six or more batters in seven of his tenappearances. Notched an opponent's batting average of .168 againstleft-handed hitters in 48 at-bats (eight hits) on the season.Averaged 6.77 innings per appearance, highest on the team.
