2012: Appeared in36 games for Stonehill making 34 starts. Made all 34 starts behindthe plate for the Skyhawks. Hit .220 (26-for-118) with two doublesand 15 runs batted in. Posted a .237 slugging percentage and a .308on-base percentage. Compiled a .970 fielding percentage in 271chances (239 putouts, 24 assists, eight errors). Hit .400 with arunner on third base and less than two outs (4-for-10). Had seventwo-out RBI's. Collected three multi-hit games and three multi-RBIgames. Had a3-for-4 showing with one run scored and two RBI's versus AmericanInternational College in game one of a doublehader on April 9. Drew11 walks on the season including three-straight games with a walkfrom April 11 to April 15 against Bentley University and SouthernNew Hampshire University, respectively. Recorded ten or moreputouts in seven games. Reached base safely via a hit, walk orhit-by-pitch in his first ten-straight games to start the season.Had four sacrifice hits, third most on the squad. Did not groundoutinto a double play all year. Only one of three players to do sowith a minimum of 100 at-bats.

Previous College:Attended Bryant University from 2010-11. Was a member of thebaseball team. Batted .269 (18-for-67) with six runs scored, onetriple and nine runs batted in. Posted a .992 fielding percentagewith 117 putouts, 15 assists and one error.

High School: A2010 graduate of Masconoment Regional High School. Four-yearletterwinner. Team captain. Honor Roll student. Led team to CapeAnn League titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Earned All-League Player,E-Mass All-Star and Salem News All-Star selections. Played in the2010 Agganis All-Star Game and 2010 E-Mass All-Star Game.

Personal: Born onJune 23, 1992. Son of Karla and David Shepard of Boxford, Mass. Hasfour siblings, Brendan (22), Kyle (21), Jacqueline (16) andMichelle (9). Brother Brendan was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in2011 MLB Draft in the 28th round with the 862nd pick overall.Brendan was also a member of the Stonehill baseball team. KevinShepard played baseball at Boston College and for the PhiladelphiaPhillies. Father, David, played basketball at Bentley College.Environmental Studies major at the college.
