Biography

2016: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester

2015: Made six appearances with two starts for Stonehill during his junior campaign. Pitched a total of 10.2 innings with 12 strikeouts and 12 walks. Held opponents to a .244 batting average. Made his first start against Nyack College (2/21), pitching 4.2 innings, giving up just one earned run and striking out nine batters. Made an appearance out of the bullpen against Franklin Pierce (4/4), pitching one inning and giving up one earned run. Made his final two appearances out of the bullpen against Bentley (4/13) and Saint Michael's (4/25), pitching one inning in each game, only allowing one unearned run along the way.

2014: Made eight appearances, all starts, for Stonehill during his sophomore season. Posted a 3-2 record and a 3.02 ERA in 47.2 innings of work. Allowed 19 runs (16 earned) on 43 hits while striking out 28, walking 12, and holding opponents to a .239 batting average. Made his first start of the season on 2/22 against Pfeiffer. Did not earn a decision after lasting five innings and giving up one run on four hits while striking out two and walking two. Earned his first win against Bridgeport after logging a season-high eight innings and allowing two earned runs on six hits to go with six strikeouts and a walk (3/10). Went 5.1 frames and gave up just one run on four hits but did not earn a decision against Bentley (4/1). Took the loss against Pace despite giving up only two runs through 7.2 innings and striking out four (4/6). Picked up his second victory of the season after holding Saint Anselm to three runs on six hits through five frames (4/13). Collected his second win in as many starts with a 5.1 inning, four strikeout effort against Saint Michael's while giving up two runs on four hits (4/21). Made his final start of the season on 4/29 against Bentley, allowing two runs on five hits in 6.1 innings of work while punching out five and walking just one.

2013: Appeared in eight games, making five starts for the Skyhawks during his freshman season. Posted a 0-2 record with a 5.10 ERA with 14 strikeouts and 17 earned runs in 30.0 innings. Made his first collegiate appearance when he started during Stonehill’s 7-4 victory over Felician College (2/22/13). Yielded three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out one against Felician. Gave up just two run and struck out a career-high five batters in a six-inning no-decision during Stonehill’s 3-2 victory over Southern New Hampshire University (3/28/13). Made his first relief appearance, pitching a hitless and scoreless inning against Franklin Pierce University (4/20/13). Pitched two scoreless innings, striking out one and yielding two hits during a 6-4 loss to Saint Anselm College (4/28/13).

High School: 2011 graduate of Penn-Trafford High School. Captained the baseball team during his senior season. Team won the Keystone State Games Gold Medal in his junior year.

Personal: Born on February 6, 1993 in Plymouth, Mass. Son of Paul and Jill Hauck of Harrison City, Pennsylvania. Has two sisters, Julia (12) and Emma (9), and one brother, Drew (5). Enjoys playing the guitar in his free time. Lists favorite team as the Pittsburgh Pirates.
