Biography

2013:Athletic Director's Honor Roll bothsemesters. Started all 44 games he played in forStonehill during his senior season with the team. Hit .230(38-for-165) with four doubles, 18 RBI, 16 walks, 12 runs, twostolen bases, and a .303 on-base percentage. Registered 11multi-hit games and logged four three-hit games during the year.Notched his first hit and first RBI in Stonehill’s 2-1 lossto West Virginia Wesleyan College (2/22/13). Reached base safelyvia hit or walk in 13 straight games, hitting .380 (19-for-50) withtwo doubles, eight RBI, eight walks, four runs, and one stolen baseduring that stretch. Knocked in three runs during a 2-for-3 outingin Stonehill’s 7-4 win over Felician College (2/22/13).Reached base four times (three singles, one walk) during theSkyhawks’ 4-3 win over Molloy College (2/23/13). Singledtwice, scored a run, and drove in another during a 9-2 win overMercyhurst College (2/24/13). Recorded three singles and scored hissecond run of the year during a 9-0 win over Assumption College(3/3/13). Went 2-for-4 with a single, a double, a walk, and tworuns in Stonehill’s 13-7 win over Saint Anselm College(3/4/13). Hit three singles and drove in the game-winning run forthe Skyhawks in a 3-1 win over Assumption College (3/8/13).Collected two RBI when he hit a two-run single to center field inthe seventh inning of Stonehill’s 6-0 win over the Universityof Bridgeport (3/15/13). Drove in four RBI, singled once, doubledtwice, and scored one run in Stonehill’s 12-10 loss to theUniversity of New Haven (3/24/13). Knocked in one run when he hit asacrifice fly in the fourth inning of Stonehill’s 3-2 winover nationally-ranked Southern New Hampshire University (3/28/13).Singled in the only run of the game in Stonehill’s 1-0 winover Southern New Hampshire (3/30/13). Registered back-to-backtwo-hit games against UMass Lowell and Le Moyne College (4/2/13& 4/6/13). Went 2-for-4 with one RBI in the Skyhawks’ 5-4triumph over Le Moyne College (4/6/13). Singled twice and scored arun in a 6-3 win over Saint Michael’s College ((4/14/13).Went 2-for-3 and scored the game-winning run during a 2-0 win overSaint Anselm (4/27/13). Logged the final RBI of his collegiatecareer when he squeezed home the game-tying run in the ninth-inningof Stonehill’s 4-3 loss to Merrimack College (5/3/13).

2012: NE-10Commissioner's Honor Roll (FallSemester).Athletic Director's Honor Roll (FallSemester). Started in all 49 games for the Skyhawkson the season, one of five players to do so. Played all 49 games atshortstop. Hit .260 (44-for-169) with 37 runs scored, ten doubles,one triple, one homer and 18 runs batted in. Slugged .349 andposted an on-base percentage of .395. Went 3-for-4 in stolen baseattempts and compiled a .935 fielding percentage in 216 chances (69putouts, 133 assists, 14 errors). Hit .324 with runners on-base.Reached base at a .410 (16-for-39) clip as a leadoff hitter in aninning. Batted .333 (12-for-36) with runners in scoring position,.667 (6-for-9) with runners on third and less than two outs andknocked in nine two-out RBI's. Collected 11 multi-hit gamesincluding eight two-hit contests, two three-hit games and one gamewith four hits. Had four multi-RBI games. Put together a five-gamehitting streak from March 24 to March 29. Hit .650 (13-for-20)during that span, scored six runs, notched six RBI's, had twodoubles and two walks. Raised his average from .281 to .350 duringthat stretch. Reached base safely via a hit, walk or hit-by-pitchin nine-straight games to start the season and 37 out of 49 gamestotal. Had a season-high three walks against C.W. Post in game oneof a doubleheader on March 4. Also knocked in a season-high threeruns in game two against C.W. Post (March 4) going 2-for-5 with onerun scored and one double. Launched a home run against Concordia(N.Y.) on February 26. Has hit exactly one home run in each of histhree seasons at Stonehill. Collected his only triple of the yearversus Post University on February 25. Had a season-high eightassists against Concordia (N.Y.). Did not committ an error in hislast six games to close out the season (22 chances total).

2011: AthleticDirector's Honor Roll Spring Semester.NE-10 Commissioner's Spring HonorRoll. One of four playersto start and play in all 48 contests during the season. Finishedfifth on the team in batting average at .267. Ranked third in theNE-10 in assists with 143. Compiled a .933 fielding percentage atshortstop. Had eight games with at least two hits or more on theseaosn. Went 4-for-4 with two runs scored, one double, one home runand four runs batted in against American International College(4/3) in a 9-3 win. Had three hits, one run and one run batted inversus Adelphi University (3/26) in a 4-3 loss. Scored aseason-high four runs against the College of Saint Rose (5/6) in a17-7 win. Also drew a season-high three walks in that contest. Hadtwo games with stolen bases in each contest, West Virginia WesleyanCollege (2/25) and Assumption College (3/23). Hit .308 againstleft-handed pitching in 26 at-bats (eight hits). Batted .500 with arunner on third and less than two outs (8-for-16). Hit .281 withtwo outs (16-for-57). Had a team-leading 13 two-out runs batted in.Reached base at a .487 clip, second-best on the team, as a leadoffhitter in an inning (19-for-39). NE-10 Player of the Week (4/4). Zeiner Named NCBWA East Region and NE-10 Player ofthe Week.

2010: NE-10Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Appered in 24 gamesand started 9 for the Skyhawks. Had a .259 batting average withfive RBI, four runs scored and one home run. Went 2-for-3 with twoRBI, two runs scored a home run in a game versus Saint Michael'sCollege(4/21).

High School: 2009graduate of Simsbury High School. Four-year letterwinner inbaseball. Served as team captain. Earned All-CCC Selection bothjunior and senior year. Named to All-Courant Team senior year.Earned Zone 8 All-Star for American Legion. Four-year letterwinnerfor basketball and served as team captain. Two-year letterwinnerfor soccer.
