2015-16 (Junior): Appeared in 15 games on the mound, recording five starts and 45.0 innings pitched for a record of 4-2. Gave up 44 hits, 23 runs, 20 walks, and 27 strikeouts for a 3.60 ERA.
2014-15 (Sophmore): Pitched in six games, starting two times for Stonehill during his redshirt freshman campaign. Posted a 3-0 record with a 2.05 ERA, 16 strikeouts, and five earned runs in 22.0 innings. Recorded scoreless relief appearances two times on the year. Collected his first career win in a 3.2 inning relief appearance against American International College (3/8/15). Pitched 5.1 innings of scoreless relief against Southern Connecticut State, giving up five hits while striking out four (4/12/15). Made his first career start during Stonehill’s 13-3 victory over Saint Michael's College, lasting five innings and giving up two runs while striking out six (4/26/15). Made his final appearance and start against Southern New Hampshire, pitching five innings while giving up one earned run with one strikeout.
2013-14 (Freshman): Did not see action during his freshman season. Redshirted due to injury
High School: 2013 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School, where he competed in baseball, soccer, and basketball. Was a Catholic Conference All-Star as a junior. Served as captain of the baseball, basketball, and soccer teams as a senior, but did not compete in baseball due to undergoing Tommy John Surgery. Won Catholic Memorial's Outstanding Senior Athlete award.
Personal: Born March 10, 1995 in Boston, Mass. Son of Bob and Lauren Hurley. Has one brother, Andrew (23). Supports Duke Basketball and Tom Brady.
