Previous College: Attended the University ofMaine for his freshman year. Played baseball and was a scholarathlete.

High School:  2006 graduate of Bangor HighSchool. Played for the varsity baseball and basketball teams hisjunior and senior years. Earned all-state accolades at first base.State Champion in 2006. National Honor Society member.

Personal:  Born on January 18, 1988 inDover-Foxcroft, Maine. Son of Ed and Candi Hackett of Bangor,Maine. Has two siblings, Brian (23) and Amy (19). Brother playsbaseball at University of Maine.  Sister, Amy, plays soccerand basketball at Bowdion College. His father played baseball atthe University of Maine as well. Majors in marketing at Stonehill.Lists Alex Rodriguez as favorite athlete.
