Gave up 21 runs (18earned) with 39 strikeouts and 18 walks while holding opponents toa .225 batting average and tossing one complete game. Lasted atleast seven innings in eight of his eleven starts, and at least sixinnings in all but one start. Gave up one run or fewer in sevenstarts, and recorded 5+ strikeouts three times. Took the ball forStonehill on opening day and earned the win after going sevenshutout innings and striking out five while walking just one in a4-0 triumph over Felician (2/20). Improved to 2-0 with asix-inning, season-high eight-strikeout effort while giving up justone run on four hits and walking one in a 3-1 win againstBridgeport (3/9). Tossed seven shutout frames, striking out fourand walking two in a 6-0 victory over Mercy (3/14). Logged seveninnings of one-run ball while striking out four and walking one ina 5-1 win at American International (3/20). Took his first loss ofthe season despite lasting 8.2 frames and allowing just two earnedruns in a 4-0 setback at Franklin Pierce (3/29). Scattered sevenhits over 7.2 shutout innings in a 2-1 win against Adelphi (4/5).Suffered his second loss of the season at Saint Anselm College(4/12). Got back on track against Saint Michael's, lasting eightinnings and allowing just one run in a 3-1 win (4/19). Struck outfour and gave up two runs over seven frames in a 10-2 win atAssumption (4/25). Earned his eighth win of the season after going6.1 innings and allowing four runs (three earned) in a 9-5 victoryover Merrimack (5/2). Became the program's all-time wins leader byearning his 24th career triumph in his final start, a 7.2 inning,one-run effort as Stonehill defeated Adelphi, 3-1, in the NE-10Tournament (5/9).
2013: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll(SpringSemester).New England Baseball Journal Division II "Player toWatch". Athletic Director's Honor Roll for bothsemesters. Started 11 games for the Skyhawks duringhis junior year at Stonehill. Posted a 5-3 record with a 2.87 ERAand 54 strikeouts in 75.1 innings. Collected his first win of theseason when he posted eight strikeouts and yielded one earned runon three hits during the Skyhawks’ 2-1 win over LIU Post(2/21/13). Registered a 17-inning scoreless streak over the firstthree games of the season, holding opponents to just 12 baserunners during that span. Pitched a complete game shutout, strikingout six batters and giving up five hits, during Stonehill’s9-0 win over Assumption College (3/3/13).Posted seven strikeoutsand held Assumption to one unearned run on five hits duringStonehill’s 3-1 win on March 8. Tossed eight scorelessinnings and struck out four batters in Stonehill’s 2-0 winover Saint Anselm (4/27/13). Picked up his fifth win of the seasonin a seven-inning effort, during the Skyhawks’ 8-6 triumphover Merrimack College (5/4/13).
2012: NE-10Commissioner's Honor Roll (FallSemester).Athletic Director's Honor Roll (FallSemester). Made ten appearances, eight starts, forStonehill posting a 3.24 earned run average and a 5-1 recordoverall in 50 innings pitched. Combined for two shutouts. Yielded58 hits, 24 runs (18 earned), issued 14 walks and fanned 40batters. Finished third on the team in earned run average. Heldleft-handed hitters to a .269 batting average (14-for-52). Posted a7.20 strikeouts per game ratio. Had an 11.16 groundball outs ratio.Did not allow an earned run in his first 15 innings pitched. Struckout ten batters over that span. Fanned a season-high nine battersin back-to-back games against Southern New Hampshire University(April 14) and Franklin Pierce University (April 21). Stonehillwent 9-1 overall in his appearances and won in his firstseven-straight contests. Shutout Assumption College (March 29) over6.1 innings pitched allowing five hits, one walk and fivestrikeouts in a 2-0 victory. Six of his eight starts went five-plusinnings. Struck out eight batters over seven innings of shutoutball against the University of Bridgeport on March 14. Only allowedfour hits and did not issue a walk in that outing. Did not give upa home run in six consecutive appearances to start the season (32.1innings pitched). Had at least one strikeout in every appearancebut one. Only hit two batters on the season, tied for first amongall starters on the staff. Gave up the third fewest extra-base hitsamong all starters with 12 (seven doubles, one triple, fourhomers).

Among relievers he had the team's best earned runaverage (ERA) with a 2.22 mark. Compiled 44.2 innings, the mostamong relievers and the most starts. His 27 strikeouts finishedsecond-best among relievers. Opponents hit just .268. Left-handedhitters only batted .258 (8-for-31). Held opponents to a .250batting average (19-for-76) with runners in scoring position.Compiled a 5.44 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio and a 2.7strikeout-to-walk ratio. Picked off five runners, tied third-mostin the conference. NE-10 Rookie of theWeek (4/11). Soulier Named NE-10 Rookie of theWeek. Soulier Earns NE-10 All-Rookie Teamhonors.
