Prep: Attended Canterbury School in New Milford, Conn., for one year after missing his entire senior season at Darien High School.
High School: 2011 graduate of Darien High School. Four year letterwinner for coach Robert Trifone. Despite missing his entire senior season due to injury, received the school's "Most Improved Academically" Award. The Blue Wave posted a 38-8-1 record over his four years, winning the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference Championship his senior year. Missed the first three games of his junior year due to injury and made five catches for 75 yards in Homecoming Game against Wilton. Caught six passes for 80 yards against rivals New Canaan. Lost to New Canaan in both the FCIAC and Connecticut State Championship games his sophomore season. Played both wide receiver and free safety his sophomore year.
Personal: Born January 21, 1993, in Tampa, Fla. Son of Frank and Jeannette Donato of Darien, Conn. Has a sister, Gabrielle (15). Majoring in business. Chose Stonehill because of its strong athletic programs and prestigious academic reputation. Supports the Minnesota Vikings. Lists Adrian Peterson as a favorite athlete.
