Nick Nogueira isentering his first season as assistant football coach at StonehillCollege. He will be serving as position coach for the Skyhawk tightends.

Nogueira comes to Stonehill afterserving as varsity assistant coach and weight room instructor atBishop Connolly High School in Fall River, Mass. He worked with theCougars defensive linemen and also helped coach the special teamsunits. Noguiera also completed his first season as junior varsitybaseball coach at Bishop Connolly this spring.

Prior to Bishop Connolly, Nogueiraworked as a student assistant at the University of South Alabamaduring his final semester following his playing career. He workedwith the Jaguars defensive linemen and special teams as well,assisting the defensive line coach with practice drills andbreaking down film. Nogueira worked with the NIKE Coach of theYear Clinic in Mobile, Ala., from January 2009 until March 2010where he ran stations that instructed coaches on proper individualtechniques and worked as a drill demonstrator.

Nogueira, a native of Fall River,graduated from South Alabama in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree ininterdisciplinary studies. He recently completed a secondBachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State University in May forhistory. Nogueira, who is a Tae-Kwon-Do black belt, is an EagleScout and has also completed many hours of volunteer work with theSpecial Olympics and Habitat for Humanity.
