2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (SpringSemester). Started all 34 games. Averaged 12.8points, five rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.3 minutesper game. Shot 39.5-percent from the field, including 38.2-percent(73-for-191) from three-point range. Converted 70.5% (67-95)free-throw attempts and added 17 blocked shots. Contributed 11.9points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 31 minutes pergame in Conference play. Led the Skyhawks in scoring 16 times andin rebounding on six occasions. Netted 22 points in overtime winagainst Merrimack (11/27). Posted his first career double-doublewith 22 points and a career-best 12 rebounds and two blocked shotsin double-overtime setback to Bentley (12/10). Made 6-of-8 shotsfrom the field, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, andconverted 4-of-5 free-throws in win at Adelphi (1/25). Followedthat up with 23 points, drilling all five three's, with eightrebounds in win over Pace (1/28). Posted 17 points in win atBentley (2/18). Scored 19 points in NE-10 quarterfinal victory overMerrimack (2/26) with seven rebounds. Netted a career-best 27 pointon 9-of-14 shooting, including 5-for-8 from deep, in NE-10semifinal win at Adelphi (2/29). Followed that up with 23 points,five boards and three steals in NE-10 Championship victory overUMass Lowell (3/3), hitting 4-of-7 three's. 2010-11: Appeared in 28 games off the bench. Averagedfive points, two rebounds and just under a steal in 14.8 minutesper game. Shot 43.2-percent from the field and was second on theteam with 22 three-point field goals. Led the Skyhawks in scoringonce. Shot 53.8-percent (14-for-26) from the field, including7-for-14 (50%) from three-point range, in eight non-conferencecontests. Averaged 6.8 points on 53.2-percent shooting from thefield, including 12-for-25 (48%) from beyond the arc, in ten gamesplayed on the road. Totaled eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, threerebounds and a steal in win at Southern New Hampshire (12/4).Contributed nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from deep and fourboards in win over Holy Family (12/30). Led Stonehill with acareer-high 20 points as he made all seven shots from the field,including 6-for-6 from downtown, with three rebounds in 18 minutesoff the bench in win at Pace (1/8). Chipped in nine points on4-of-6 shooting in win at Saint Anselm (2/16). Posted eight pointson 2-of-3 shooting from the field while converting 4-of-5free-throws against UMass Lowell in NE-10 quarterfinal (2/28).

2009-10: Made18 appearances off the bench, averaging just under a point in 4.7minutes per game. Scored a season-high seven points at Holy Family(12/29).

2008-09: Appeared in 18 games averaging 4.7minutes per game. Averaged 1.5 points and 0.9 rebounds. Scored sixpoints and had two rebounds in season-opening win over QueensCollege (11/15). Finished with a season-high eight points and tworebounds in a win over Concordia (12/13).

HighSchool: 2008 graduate of Acton-Boxborough HighSchool. Four-year letterwinner; voted team captain senior year.Named Dual County League MVP as a senior. Two-time DCL All-Star.Lowell Sun All-Scholastic. Eclipsed 1,000 points,averaging 22 points per game as a senior. Team advanced to MIAADivision 1 North tournament in senior season. Played for the AAUBoston Warriors. Also won three letters in football, serving ascaptain as a senior.

Personal: Born May 24, 1990, Boston, Mass.Son of Precious and Isibor Tongo of Acton, Mass.  Has abrother, Adio Ashafa (27). Majoring in criminology with a minor inpsychology. Participates in the Brockton Mentoring Program as a BigBrother. Supports the New York Knicks. Lists Carmelo Anthony as afavorite athlete.
