2014-15: Played 24 games as a freshman. Averaged 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game. Converted 80-percent of his free-throws (16-for-20). Contributed 3.1 points in 16 NE-10 games played, converting 6-of-8 (75%) free-throws. Chipped in four points and 1.8 rebounds per game in eight non-conference games played, connecting on 10-of-12 (83.3%) free-throws. Netted a season-high 13 points, aided by 6-of-8 shooting at the line, in a win over Dominican (11/15) in his collegiate debut, adding two assists and a steal. Registered 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from three-point range, with three rebounds in overtime win at Merrimack (11/19) with three rebounds. Chipped in five points and a season-high four rebounds and four steals in win over Humber College (12/20). Registered eight points against Southern N.H. (2/14).
High School: 2014 graduate of Hampden Academy. Played one year for coach Russ Bartlett. Was a finalist for Maine's Mr. Basketball honors, given to the top basketball player in the state. Helped the Broncos to the Eastern Maine Class A Championship and Maine State Runners-Up. Was a McDonald's All-America nominee, earning second team All-State and first team All-Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference honors. Attended Penquis Valley High School for three years, where he was a three-year letterwinner for coach Tony Hamlin. Scored over 1,000 points and led the Patriots to a Maine Class C State Championship his junior year when he was a first team All-State selection and Penobscot Valley Conference Player of the Year. Was an honorable mention All-State pick as a sophomore. Also lettered in soccer at Hampden and Penquis Valley, earning All-PVC honors as a junior. Played AAU basketball with MbNation Basketball.
Personal: Born February 14, 1996, in Mobile, Alabama. Son of David and Mary Bess of LaGrange, Maine. Has two sisters, Carolyn (23) and Hannah (21). Majoring in marketing. Chose Stonehill because of the strong academic program and basketball program. Supports the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lists Kevin Durant as a favorite athlete.
