High School: 2014 honors graduate of Bishop Connolly High School. Four year letterwinner for coach Frank Sherman, serving as captain as a junior and senior. Was a two-time Herald News All-Scholastic and Mayflower League All-Star. Helped lead Cougars to MIAA Division IV State Championship his junior year and South Sectional Championship his senior year. Earned Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award and Dave Cowens Award his senior year. Also lettered and earned Herald News All-Scholastic honors in track & field.
Personal: Born February 28, 1996, in Fall River, Massachusetts. Son of William and Jennifer Goncalo of Fall River. Has two brothers, Evan (29) and Nate (22), and a sister, Katherine (19). Dean's List student majoring in biology. Chose Stonehill because it's a great academic school with many areas of study, close to home, but not too close and has a beautiful campus. Enjoys spending time with family, playing sports and going to the beach. Supports the Boston Celtics. Lists Paul Pierce as a favorite athlete.
