2011-12: NE-10Commissioner's Honor Roll for spring semester.Started all 34 games. Averaged 4.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, ateam-high 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.5 minutes per game.Ranked ninth among NE-10 leaders for assists per game. Started all22 NE-10 games and averaged 3.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assistsand a steal per game. Averaged 4.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, fourassists and 1.3 steals in 12 non-conference games. Finished second in the NE-10 for assists pergame and fifth for assist/turnover ratio (1.7). Averaged 5.5points, 2.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and a steal in 30 minutes pergame in NE-10 play. Contributed 7.1 points on 42.9-percent shootingfrom the field, including 8-for-20 (40%) from three-point range,while converting 73.9% of his free-throws, with 2.5 rebounds, 4.9assists and a steal per game in 12 road contests. Had ten points,four rebounds and three assists at Merrimack (11/23). Posted hisfirst career double-double with 11 points, on 5-of-8 shooting, anda career-high 11 assists in win over Assumption (1/11). 2009-10: Appeared in all 30 games off thebench, averaging 2.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 18.1 minutes pergame. Scored a season-high nine points with three rebounds at SaintMichael's (11/29). Had five points, three rebounds, two assists, ablock, and a steal against District of Columbia (11/21). Sevenpoints and an assist against Southern Connecticut (1/6). Collectedseven rebounds against Pace (1/9). Five points and five assists atAssumption (1/12). Seven points, four assists, and four steals atUMass Lowell (2/6). Eight points and five rebounds at Bentley(2/24).
Postgraduate:Prepped one year at Saint Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn.Played basketball and baseball. Named MVP of baseball team.
HighSchool: 2008 graduate of Amity High School. Four yearletterwinner, serving as captain his senior season. Named team MVPas a junior and senior. Received All-Conference and All-Areahonors. Member of Connecticut Gold AAU team.
Personal: Born March 25, 1990, New Haven,Conn. Son of Peter and Denise Markle of Branford, Conn. Has asister, Devin (25), who played lacrosse at the University ofVermont. Majoring in criminology. Participates in the BrocktonMentor Program. Lists Ken Griffey, Jr., as a favorite athlete.
