2016: NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll spring semester
2014-15: Skated in 18 games for Stonehill during his junior campaign, recording three assists for three points on the season. Registered his first point of the season against Franklin Pierce (11/22), assisting on Dan Graham's goal in a 5-2 Stonehill victory. Posted an assist against SUNY Canton (1/17) in a 5-6 defeat. Earned his final point of the year against Franklin Pierce (2/18), assisting on Thomas DePoalo's goal in an 8-2 victory.
2013-14: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Appeared in all 26 of Stonehill's contests during his sophomore season. Recorded one goal and four assists for five points. Registered an assist on Thomas DePoalo's goal for his first career point in Stonehill's 5-3 loss to Wesleyan (11/26). Followed that up with two more assists in Stonehill's next contest, a 10-3 victory at Franklin Pierce (11/30). Scored his first career goal on the power play in the third period of Stonehill's 7-2 loss at Brockport (1/10).
2012-13: Appeared in three games for the Skyhawks as a freshman.
High School: 2012 graduate of Boston College (BC) High School. Four-year letterwinner in ice hockey. Earned honor roll status all four years at BC High. Served as the team captain for the ice hockey squad as a senior. Also earned the Unsung Athletic Hero Award during his senior season.
Personal: Born on June 10, 1994 in Quincy, Mass. Son of Patricia and Michael Furey. Has one sister, Colleen (15). Lists favorite team as the Boston Bruins. Three of his family members have attended Stonehill including his grandmother, Eileen, and his aunt Dora and Uncle Dave McCormack. Lists hobbies as fishing and playing golf. Is attending Stonehill for its strong academic background and the ability to play hockey.
