2016-17 (Senior): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll Spring semester. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. Skated in his first collegiate game in a 3-2 loss against Assumption (12/3).

2013-14 (Freshman): NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director’s Honor Roll both semesters. Did not see action during his freshman season. 

High School: 2013 graduate of North Branford High School, where he competed on the varsity hockey, soccer, and baseball teams all four years. Earned All-Area and All-State in hockey as a junior and senior, and named team MVP and All-SCC (Southern Connecticut Conference) as a senior. Also became a member of hockey program's 100-point club as a senior.

Personal: Born April 13, 1995 in North Branford, Conn. Son of Glenn and Eileen Podbielski  of North Branford. Has two brothers, Corey (22) and Eric (20). Lists favorite athlete as Claude Giroux and favorite team as the Philadelphia Flyers. Chose Stonehill because he loved the school and environment. Inducted into Lambda Epislon Sigma in 2017.
