Stonehill College

2013-14: Appeared in 18 games during his sophomore season for Stonehill. Recorded nine points on five goals and four assists. Opened his season with a goal in Stonehill's 7-3 comeback victory at Southern New Hampshire (11/2). Registered a career-best three points on a goal and two assists in Stonehill's 10-3 triumph at Franklin Pierce (11/30). Netted his third goal of the season in a 4-2 win over Southern New Hampshire (1/25). Tallied an assist in a 2-1 win at Southern New Hampshire (2/8). Scored his fourth goal of the season in a 5-4 victory against Saint Anselm (2/18). Recorded his final point of the season, a goal, in Stonehill's regular season finale, a 6-2 win against Assumption (2/20).

2012-13: Skated in 20 games during his freshman year for the Skyhawks. Ranked sixth in the league in freshman scoring with 13 points on three goals and 10 assists. Registered his first collegiate goal and assist in his first ever game with the Skyhawks, an 8-3 victory over Johnson & Wales (10/31/12). Dished out his second assist of the season in a 2-1 loss to SUNY Canton (11/2/12). Credited with an assist on Bill Carey’s fourth goal of the year during a 4-1 win over Southern New Hampshire (11/14/12). Earned his fourth assist of the season against Western New England, a 4-2 loss (12/2/12). Collected an assist in Stonehill’s 6-1 thrashing of Suffolk (12/5/12). Posted a career-high two assists during the Skyhawks’ 7-2 win over UMass Dartmouth(1/29/13). Recorded points in the final two regular season games of the year, earning an assist in the 6-0 win over Stonehill (2/16/13) and a goal in the loss to Saint Anselm (2/19/13).

Prep School: Attended the Pingree School. Two-sport athlete competing in golf and ice hockey. Four-time varsity letterwinner in ice hockey. Led team in points from his sophomore season on. Served as a captain of the ice hockey team during his senior season. Coached by Buddy Taft and assistant coach Gino Kachadorian all four years at the Pingree School.

Personal: Born on October 18, 1993 in Beverly, Mass. Son of Tracy and Todd Soter. Lists favorite team as Boston Bruins and favorite athlete as Nathan Gerbe. Lists hobbie(s) as going fishing. Chose Stonehill for its academics and strong hockey program. Majoring in biology.
