In Whyte's five seasons at Merrimack, they compiled a conference record of 25-9-5 with an overall record of 33-26-14.
Before Merrimack, Whyte spent four seasons at Stonehill as the Associate Head Coach on Jim Reddish's staff. Prior to his four-year stint with the Skyhawks, Whyte was an assistant coach at Northeastern University for two seasons.

Whyte Graduated from John Brown University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.  He holds a USSF "A" coaching license, a USSF Youth coaching license, and a Director of Coaching Diploma.
