2016: NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll spring semester
2014: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Made 12 appearances including 11 starts. Made 39 saves and gave up 19 goals in 1020:05 minutes of action. Posted a 1.68 goals against average and a .672 save percentage. Recorded three shutouts on the year including back-to-back clean sheets against Nyack (9/13) and Saint Anselm (9/16). Stopped a season-high six shots in a 3-0 win against Nyack (9/13). Allowed one goal or fewer in five contests. Finished the year with an 8-3-1 record.
2013: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Athletic Director's Honor Roll spring semester. Appeared in two contests during his sophomore season. Made five saves and gave up three goals in 90:00 minutes of action. Played the second half of Stonehill's 5-0 loss at Mercy College, recording three saves and giving up two goals (9/11). Collected two saves while allowing one goal in 45:00 minutes in a 4-0 loss at Franklin Pierce (10/8).
2012: Started all five games he played in, posting a 2-3 record. Notched 18 saves on 29 shots, earning a .621 save percentage. Compiled a 2.16 goals against average, with 11 goals against in 459:16 minutes played. Started his first collegiate game against Assumption (9/25), a 5-1 loss. Collected three saves and posted his first career win in a 2-1 victory against American International (10/3). Registered a career-high six saves in a 2-1 overtime loss against Le Moyne (10/13). Notched four saves in a 4-2 win against Saint Rose.
High School: 2012 graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School. Four-year letter winner and three-year varsity member of the soccer squad. Earned the Coach's Award as a freshman. Became the starting goaltender of the varsity squad during his sophomore season. Earned Salem Evening News honorable mention honors and CAL All-Star honors as a junior. During his senior season, earned ESPN All-State MA Team honors, CAL All-League accolades, a selection to the Salem Evening News All-Star team, named to the Boston Globe Top-Five Northeast Players to Watch list and the Coach's Award. Played club soccer with Aztec FC.
Personal: Born on November 12, 1993 in Champaign Urbana, Ill. Son of Jackie and Tod Besse of Hamilton, Mass. Lists favorite team as Arsenal and favorite athlete as Joe Hart. Majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.
