2009: Played inall 19 games for Stonehill, totaling two goals on ten shots. Scoredher first career goal in the second overtime period againstSouthern New Hampshire, leading Stonehill to a 2-1 win (9/16).NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll (9/21).

High School: 2007 graduate of Norwich FreeAcademy, where she was a four-time letterwinner in soccer andwas named captain her senior year. Two-time EasternConnecticut Conference soccer All-Star. Earned all-state honors hersenior year. Won the Eastern Connecticut Conference Championship in2004. Also a letterwinner in lacrosse where she was named anEastern Connecticut All-Star in lacrosse and was named captain as asenior. Recipient of the Coaches' Award. National Honor Societymember.

Personal: BornFebruary 3, 1989, Norwich, Conn. Daughter of George and NancyMattern of Preston, Conn. Two siblings, Mary Jane (27) and Eric(24). Supports the Boston Red Sox. Lists Mike Lowell as favoriteathlete.
