Stonehill College

Maureen Atkins is in her second season as an assistant coachwith the Stonehill volleyball program. Atkins was a four-yearstandout at Bryant University, where she played two years forcurrent Stonehill head coach Lauren Amundson during Amundson's timeas a Bryant assistant coach.

A top defensive player for the Bulldogs, Atkins played 531career games and amassed 1,758 digs over four years, sixth-most inprogram history. She also holds the school record for career servepercentage (.951) and ranks in the top ten all-time in service aces(196) and sets played (531).

Atkins has previously coached specialty sessions and camps atTolland (Conn.) High School. She graduated from Bryant in 2009 witha B.S. in Business Administration.
