Megan Sias has been named the Northeast Conference/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Rookie of the Week for the second time by the league office this afternoon.
Sias is Stonehill's first two-time NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Rookie of the Week selection after picking up the honors today, along with on December 2. Senior
Sharn Hayward also earned weekly honors from the NEC with Prime Performer status for the second-straight week and team-leading fourth week this season overall (fifth career) with the duo recognized for their efforts in a 1-1 week for the Skyhawks.

Sias was among a season-high five Stonehill players in double-figures in Wednesday's 65-49 win at Northeastern University with ten points, converting all four free throws, four offensive rebounds, two assists, and a steal off the bench. She followed that up with five points and a team-leading four rebounds with a steal at BIG EAST Marquette University on Saturday. Sias averaged 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 16.3 minutes per game off the bench, shooting 5-for-14 (35.7%) from the floor and converting all five free-throw attempts for the week.
Sias has averaged 16.8 minutes per game off the bench through 12 games in her first collegiate season at Stonehill. She is contributing 8.0 points on 40.7 percent shooting from the floor and 85% (17-20) from the free-throw line with 4.1 rebounds per game, ranking 15
th among NEC leaders.
Sias has scored in double figures in four games after her ten points at Northeastern, netting a season-high 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting with five rebounds against the University of Maine on November 26, marking the Skyhawks first 20-point game by a freshman since Kayla Raymond, '22 netted 32 points at Merrimack College in 2019. Sias grabbed a season-best six rebounds at Rider University on December 14.
Hayward earned NEC Prime Performer honors after averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists over Stonehill's two games last week. She converted 5-of-6 free-throw attempts (83.3%) and buried 4-of-12 (33.3%) three-pointers for the week. Hayward was among a trio of Skyhawks with a team-high 12 points in Wednesday's win at Northeastern to lead a season-best five double-figure scorers, converting all four free-throws and adding four rebounds and three assists. She followed that up with a team-high 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 2-for-4 from three-point range, three rebounds and a steal at Marquette.
Stonehill (4-8, 0-0 NEC) is off until after the Christmas holiday when it hosts the University of New Hampshire for their final non-conference matchup of the year to open a season-high four-game homestand at Merkert Gymnasium that will lead into the NEC schedule on Monday, December 30, at 4 p.m.
