EASTON, Mass. – The Stonehill men's soccer team was upended by Fairleigh Dickinson, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore James Forrest-Hay registered two shots including one shot on goal off the bench.
- Senior Owen Burke notched a pair of shots.
- Finn Schueler came off the bench and played 76 minutes in net, registering one save.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Skyhawks and Knights battled each other through the early minutes. The contest remained 0-0 until FDU broke up the stalemate in the 13
th minute. FDU's Jaime Barbero found the back of an open net to give the Knights the 1-0 lead.
FDU scored twice more to take a 3-0 lead into the locker room, then came out and knocked in two additional goals in the second half.
