NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Stonehill women's volleyball dropped a late season midweek NEC contest to Central Connecticut State, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
	- The Skyhawks hit .333 as a team in the first set, tallying 10 kills on 24 attempts with two errors.
- Senior Mia Berardino led the offense notching 10 kills on the evening.
- Freshman Suzie Ponce notched three aces to go along with a team high 11 digs.
- Freshman Kendra Sawyer tallied 13 assists on the night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Skyhawks were strong offensively, posting a .333 attack percentage in the first set. Senior outside hitter 
Mia Berardino hit .455 with six kills on 11 attempts and just one miscue, but it was not enough to power the Skyhawks past the Blue Devils as CCSU took the first set, 25-20.
 
Central Connecticut State did not let up offensively, registering a .357 attack percentage in the second set to take the two-match advantage. The Blue Devils continue to improve upon their hitting, recording a .440 hitting percentage in the third set to seal the victory.
