HOW IT HAPPENED
The Skyhawks set the tone and controlled the game from the opening kick. The two teams kept each other off the scoreboard until the 23
rd minute when graduate senior
Nathan Lagoa collected a rebound off an initial shot by senior Jarod Rapoza and firing the ball into the back of the net.
Stonehill took a 1-0 lead into the break. It looked as if it was going to be all the Skyhawks needed as Tencza and the Skyhawk defense kept Saint Francis offense at bay. Lagoa and senior
Owen Burke provided Stonehill with some breathing room in the 63
rd minute to increase the lead to 2-0.
