HOW IT HAPPENED
The Skyhawks had energy early after a second chance dunk by junior Ridvan Tutic gave Stonehill a 3-2 lead. It was a tight contest until the second media time of the first half with URI leading by one. But coming out of the break, the Rams went on a 12-0 run to gain momentum over to their side.

Stonehill continued to hang around and appeared to be making a comeback at the start of the second half. Senior Rex Sunderland took advantage of carelessness on the Rams offense went coast-to-coast, connecting with Hermann Koffi for the fast break layup.

Moments before the third media time of the second half, Sunderland flipped the ball to senior William Batchelder for a deep three to close the deficit. But they were unable to cool off a Rams offense that was shooting over 48% from the floor.
