EASTON, Mass. (Nov. 24, 2025) – Anthony Busa of the Stonehill football team has been honored as the NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. In addition, running back Joshua Roberson and Busa were selected as an NEC Prime Performer.

In Stonehill's 20-10 victory over Saint Francis, Busa, a sophomore defensive back from Newton, Mass., led all players with 12 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for a loss. He also returned an interception 28 yards and had 0.5 sacks. Busa, whose 12 tackles were a career-high, also garnered Stats Perform FCS Honorable Mention for this week.

Roberson, who hails from Townsend, Md., rushed for a career-high and a Stonehill season-best 128 rushing yards. He carried the ball 15 times and had a long rush of 40 yards.

The Skyhawks concluded their season 3-4 in the NEC and 4-8 overall.
